After I had started the coffee this morning (6 AM) I went out to set in the hot tube for 10 to 15 min. Didn't make it in to the tube. I sliped on a same patch of ice and went down forward hitting the fence. When I tried to get up using my right arm I knew I was in trouble. After rolling over I was able to get up and get inside to get ROSIE TO HELP ME. It was to the TRACY HOSPITAL. (i KEEP HITTING THE CAP LOCK KEY) and after x-rays we found that I had separated my right shoulder. I m a very hard stick and the nurse was unable to start an IV. After four tries to find a vain it was a hypo and off in the ambulance to Marshall to have it reset. two more hypo's later we are in the emerengcy room in Marshall and the RN is try to find a vein for an IV. After a few tries by her and another the sandman was able to do it. When I woke up I was st raped up and feeling very much better. Will be wearing this under garment for at least two weeks. And no I can't be in the tube for two weeks

So sorry to hear about your slipping on the ice. that always happens so fact......hope you are not in to much pain. How will this affect your driving or have things slowed down until after Christmas.....Hugs, Jan
Bob, I did the same thing in 2005 after I came back from Europe. I was standing on a slight embankment near the house. The rocks gave way and down I went into the side of the house. Like you, the minute I tried to get up I knew something wasn't working correctly. I didn't separate my shoulder, I think I had a cracked bone in my shoulder. Anyway I wore the same sort of contraption. I am so sorry that you have to do that too. Have you found out yet how many things that you took for granted that are not easy to do right now? I quite faithfully followed all the physical therapy and the shoulder seems fine now. I did my left shoulder. Heal well and fast.
.....love, Judy
Bob, Sorry to hear about your accident; it happens so fast. I just had three teeth removed; but am doing good. Take care and for the future when you know you have to have blood taken drink lots of water the day before. I know this would not apply to a accident. Take it easy and don't overdue it. Joan
