Other April birthdays...

Bob wrote to me that two of his grandchildren had birthdays in April. Loran was 4 on the 13th (popular date) and Ethan was 9.

Happy Birthday Jana and Josh....who did I forget?

Thanks for the big birthday wishes....the girls gave me 70 gerber daisies that I had to leave with my neighbor, Barb. Many of them were still good after 5 days. I would post a picture of them but don't know how to do it YET...I will try and learn before I turn 71. Thanks you for all the birthday wishes and kind words....Buzz wrote alittle poem to me....You were very clever little brother.
We are finally back in Red Wing. This year we drove to Plymouth to see little, Olivia, otherwise know as Livi J. Isn't that cute !!! We usually stop at Sara's in Cedar Rapids but she was in Little Rock with Nate at a basketall tourney. We are heading to CR with coming weekend to attend Issy's dance recital, Nate's ball game and Josh's piano recital. Want to get to some of their ball games this spring...Sara keeps us posted on their busy schedule on their blog. They have all grown up....
Al is working for the next two weeks....I have some dates on the calendar to work....but not everyday.
Keep posting...I check it daily to see if any new news....

We celebrated Jans birthday early since most of us would be gone by 13 April. Denni also had a birthday.

Engaged!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this posted, but Megan and I are engaged! I proposed on March 1st, and had our families all lined up to come down and have a meal with us. Of course, Dad (Buzz) cooked and it was fantastic. We are looking at getting married in the late spring/early summer of 2010.

The picture on the Left is the people who were able to come. Kari was the only one missing from our family, but other than that everyone was there. The back row from left to right, is Tait, Buzz (Dad), Laura (girlfriend of boy to our right), Nate (Megan's real brother), Nate (Megan's brother in law), Laura (Megan's sister), Lawrnie (Megan's Dad). Front row, Linda (Mom), Me (Kris), Megan (my Fiancée), and Patty (Megan's Mom).

Right now the task is to figure out guest lists, which is a nasty thing to do. So many family and friends to invite, the numbers are just huge.. So now we face, which friends do we cut?

Congrats Andy and Lisa! Cooper now has a playmate!!

Olivia Janice Skov and the Skov family of 4

Lisa and I are sitting here after a day with Olivia......and decided to try and put these pictures on the Andersonian. Taken in the hospital right after she was born. Weighed 8lb 10 oz...21 inches long. Lots of dark hair.

The nurse visited yesterday and when Olivia left the hospital she weighed 8lb 4 oz....yesterday she was a whopping 8lb 11 oz. Guess Mom has some good "stuff"

IDAHO

We made it back to Idaho. We arrived home on Wed afternoon in good shape. We made good time and it was helpful having Steven along to help Dennis drive. We drove longer stretches with Steve along. He left for Az Thursday night. Now we are trying to empty the motor home. We had snow the am after we arrived. I took a picture of my car; but I can't find my transfer connection.
