I picked this batch yesterday. Last weekend Rosie and I were able to can 18 quarts of tomatoes with onions and celery. As you see in the picture below we got the
blithe this year. After I get the rest picked week it will be the end. Have not had this bad a crop ever. The Roma's were very small this year. If you see the big green bush it is green beans.
Frist time we tried this. Planted 6 beans at the bottom of a large tomato cage and let them climb. Going to do two next year. We have had three big batches of bean and it is still growing

I don't think the tomatoes are doing real well around here either. Would love to have green beans all summer. They are my favorite. Do you freeze some? Never tasted quite right when I tried it.....gave up when we sold the house because we had not garden. Easier to buy at the farmer's market. #3
