Congrats on the sun. Is that your home and neighborhood in the background? Really enjoy your talent for photography. You've got a great eye. The other one's not bad either. 12 degrees and sunny in South Dakota. No popsicles except that stuff that hangs behind the wheels on the car.
Oh yes, the sun has been most welcome here. Thanks for your nice comments. I do enjoy taking lots of pictures, keeps me sane to have a little creative outlet. Indeed it is our neighborhood. It's a little sketchy in parts. You don't have to go too far to find some unsavory characters, but our little pocket is really nice. Mostly retirees and working class folk. Nice to have eyes on the street. Our house has the metal roof (what a painful story that was) the nice pale yellow four square you see in the background is owned by a bachelor who works for Boeing. It's mostly empty. I so wish a family would move in.
Hi Jayne! I love your pictures. I asked Mark for a camera (more than the shoot and go digital we have right now) for my 40th in May. I hope he does it because it looks like fun and with the kids young (but not for long) the images you are capturing are amazing. Mom has shown me pictures of your house and it looks like you have a beautiful view and a great house. Keep the pictures coming and I do read your family blog. Sara
