I'm Back

I'm Back

Maybe you don't want to hear that. I got back from delivering a fire truck to Long Island NY last Friday to find my computer very very sick. It took three days of it being in ICU. It is now in therapy and doing very good. My question or message is this. If you sent me an e-mail (in the last two weeks) that required an ans or reply from me send it again. Also is the last posting from number two about light rail. Thanks

Train

Light Rail Now!
Tried to copy a picture of the light rail; but it didn't work. 10 persons boarded the bus and the NEW light rail for a discovery trip. Cost was 1.25 for the whole day. We went to downtown Phoenix, ate lunch, continued our trip to the end of line and journeyed back to Mesa. After the successful trip we ended up at Cold Cream for ice cream. It is amazing how friendly people can be ready to help all the gray haired ladies.

This is the same view 25 hours later from the one published yesterday. If you look close you can see it snowing. We got maybe 3-5" from 2:00 PM yesterday and threw the night. As it is very cold the snow was light and fluffy. My friend up the street was have so much fun with his snow blower that before I got my coffee drank he had my driveway and sidewalk done. The temp today is -8 with a wind chill of -25. No big thing as anything below -0 is cold.
Enjoy the golf game AL.

This is yesterday about 4:00 PM looking out the front window across the street. It was not snowing at this time just the blow snow. Wind speed was in the 30's +. It has been worse but that was many years ago. The temps were in the 10 above. Today the temp is -15 but the wind is down. Just thought I would post this so that you can feel better about were you are at. (Not that you need to) As they say there is two thing that you can talk about in Minnesota. The weather and #+*_()&@$. It does no good to talk about ether one.

PS: Have a great day.

Happy Birthday to Mike Anderson today.....I remember when your Mom and Dad brought you to Morris so we could see you. You were a very happy baby with a wonderful smile, in fact I think you still have that smile.
Birthday wishes this month also go to baby brother, Buzzy on the 17th.
Who else has a birthday this month in our extended family? Let's get everyone on the birthday list.

. . .In With the New

Will you please welcome - the next generation of the Anderson clan - weighing in at 10 lbs with bright red hair and hazel eyes - it's Sydney Lynn Anderson. Syd, as we call her, is the daughter of Joshua Anderson and Amanda Frank and is now 3 months old. Sydney was a beautiful surprise to all of us. And so announcements of her arrival were pending affirmation that Josh and Amanda were willing and able to raise her and give her a good home. Needless to say, they are committed and Syd has captured everyone's heart. And the family is also committed to helping any way we can - including having Syd come and stay with us this past week. Kristin and Tad retrieved past infant care skills and shared her for a few days while Josh and Amanda took a break.

So . . . lots more photos and updates to come. But wanted to share the beauty and joy of another new family member. Also wanted to let it be known that use of the "G-word" (grandpa) has not been fully assimilated or accepted. So please use it sparingly while I adjust.
